Merle Lamb age 79 of New Glasgow passed away peacefully at the Aberdeen Hospital on 28 September 2022, surrounded by family.
Born in New Glasgow he was the son of the late Chester and Esther Lamb. Merle was employed with Trenton works for 46 years in various positions, the last one being charge hand. He knew many people in town and many people knew him.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years Gloria, son Merle (Corrina) Lamb, daughters Lisa (Greg) Beacock, New Glasgow; Lorie (Mike) Lamb Blue Mountain; Michelle (Freddy), New Glasgow; granddaughters Tiffany, Brittany, Samantha, Caitlin, grandsons Jordan, Tyler, great granddaughter Rayah, great grandsons Chase, Theo, Jameson; sister Francis Mackay, Hamilton, ON.
He was predeceased by his mother and father. Cremation has taken place. Private interment at a later date.
The family would like to thank his doctor, Dr Ghoreishi for exemplary care and the staff at Aberdeen Hospital Palliative care ward, where he spent his last days and received the highest level of compassionate care and attention.
