Obituary of Howard Stacey

The family of Howard John Stacey regretfully announce his passing on June 12, 2023 at the Halifax Infirmary. Howard was Born in Point May, NFLD, oldest son of the late Donald and Claire (Shea) Stacey. Predeceased by his wife of 56 years Peg (nee MacLean). Left to mourn are his sons Howie (Julie) and Stephen (Nadine); grandchildren Noelle, Adam, Jenna, Bailley, Madison and his companion Carolyn MacKenzie.; siblings Rita, Marie, Claire, Betty, Patricia, Terrence and Eric. Howard served with the Royal Canadian Navy for several years before starting his career with and retiring from CMHC. Howard’s passion was hunting, fishing and to spend every moment he could at his cottage on Eden Lake where he along with his many hunting and fishing buddies always knew it was five o’clock somewhere. In honoring Howard’s wishes he has been cremated and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
